DESIGN: This is my warmest hard rubber tenor mouthpiece, and was designed to get that classic vintage sound but with much more going on than a Slant type piece will give you. It’s incredibly flexible and can go from warm to more modern, depending on the players ability. It doesn’t stick you in just that warm vein unless you want it to.
It’s got a large chamber with a short baffle. The sound is designed to be warm and for some players darker. It is designed with some resistance built-in on purpose, and the side rails are thicker on this model to help with that vibe.
