Selmer made, and named the reference 54 in homage to their most famous saxophone ever, the much revered Mk VI. Whether they have captured the magic of the Mark VI is a matter of opinion, but they have created a wonderfully flexible and expressive sounding horn which blows very freely and feels amazing under the fingers.
This one is in beautiful used condition and is finished in selmers lovely vintage finish with no engraving. It has just had a service and setup and is a real joy to play and hear.
