The Buescher musical instrument company was one of many to work out of Elkhart Indiana along with, Conn and Martin.

This is one of their later model 400 altos. Whilst these are not as desirable as their early counterparts, they offer a fantastic option for someone who wants a vintage sound on a budget. It is playing well on older pads and has just had a service in the workshop.  It is a wonderful sounding horn and packs a lot of bang for the money
