If you’re wanting a classic, all-purpose tenor mouthpiece for jazz, it’s hard to beat the GS SLANT. If you’re a new jazz player coming from a Yamaha 4C or S80 C*, and you don’t want to completely change your embouchure, consider the SLANT in a 5* or 6 tip. It’s a great way to get into jazz tenor tone without feeling out of control. If you’re used to a larger tip, and you’re not sure what to get, it’s hard to go wrong with the SLANT 7*
