The Selmer SA80 series 2 is Selmers best selling saxophone ever and it has become an industry standard instrument for classical and jazz players alike. It is a traditional feeling instrument with a touch more resistance than you might expect and a very balanced tonal palate allowing every player express their sound to its fullest. In short they are a wonderful sounding and well built professional alto.
This one is the Jubilee edition which features beautiful hand engraved floral patterns on the bell and a Henri Selmer signature as well as mechanical tweaks to make the horn lighter and more efficient. It is in wonderful used condition with just one patch of lacquer wear as pictured to the low C# key.
