Yamahas line of pro saxophones has long been synonymous with quality. The 62 ‘purple logo’ model has long had cult status as one of the best horns Yamaha ever made, and with good reason. They are fabulously well built, great under the fingers, and make an amazing sound.
This one is in fair used condition. It has been played, but looked after and there are no signs of any major damage. There are surface scratches and a fair bit of wear to the lacquer as is to be expected with a horn of its age but nothing major. It comes freshly serviced and is playing amazing.
