1st edition of Selmers industry standard professional alto saxophone.

The Selmer SA80 series 2 is Selmers best selling saxophone ever and it became an industry standard instrument for classical and jazz players alike, they are a wonderful sounding and well built professional alto. Its predecessor, the Super Action 80 (series 1) came after a horn that was a terrible flop for Selmer, the Mark VII. In my opinion the SA80 1 was an attempt to bring the Mark VII into a package that felt a bit more like a Mark VI whilst retaining a big modern sounding horn. They are some of my favourite modern horns and should be on the trial list for anyone looking for a professional horn.
This one is in lovely cosmetic condition. It has recently had a service and professional setup and is blowing great.
